Russians will be able to vote in elections in Belarus – deputies of the local National Assembly approved an amendment to the document on equal rights for citizens of the Union State. The Polish Embassy in Minsk is calling for Poles to immediately depart Belarus and return to Poland, stating, “In the event of a drastic deterioration in the security situation, border closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, evacuation may prove significantly more difficult or even impossible,” with this direction coming less than a day after Poland announced it would be reopening its border with Belarus following the end of joint military exercises between Belarus and Russia
