President Zelenskyy imposed 10-year sanctions against Lukashenka's sons, Viktor and Dmitry. The sanctions list includes 16 Belarusian citizens and 11 legal entities.

Lukashenka and Kim Jong-un are expected to sign a treaty of friendship and cooperation between Minsk and Pyongyang, as well as conclude nine sectoral agreements that will expand and strengthen the legal framework for cooperation amid sanctions and international isolation.

In the second half of 2025, the Russians deployed a system of relay stations in Belarus to control attack drones, which increased the Russian army's ability to launch strikes on our northern regions - from Kyiv region to Volyn.
