Belarus authorities withdrawing accreditation from foreign journalists in mass
Foreign Ministry of Belarus have cancelled media accreditation of many journalists working for foreign media, incl BBC, Reuters, AP, AFP, Radio Svaboda, ARD and others. They said it was the decision of the committee on information security
Journalists of the Belarusian service of Radio Free Europe have been deprived of accreditation. Ales Dashchynski, Aleh Hruzdzilovich, Vlad Gridin and Alyaksandra Dynko have been deprived of accreditation for foreign media journalists, which allows them to work in Belarus.
The websites of Belarus independent media outlets naviny.by and NN.by were blocked by the Ministry of Information of Belarus on the evening of August 28. Earlier, authorities blocked access to Radio Liberty @svaboda and multiple news websites.
Naviny.by website has been blocked. The blocking decision was made on Friday evening by the Ministry of Information. Together with it, at least one more independent online publication, Nasha Niva, was blocked.
